Wall and Floor Tiler

Launceston, Launceston & North East TAS, Australia-Full-time$90,000 – $120,000 per year. About the roleLaunceston Tiling Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Tiler to join our small team. As a Tiler, you will be responsible for the installation of tiles of mainly residential projects across the Launceston region. This is a full-time position based in our Launceston, TAS 7250 location. What you'll be doing

• Measuring and marking tile layouts according to project specifications
• Cutting and shaping tiles using hand tools and power tools
• Applying adhesive and carefully laying tiles in a neat and precise manner
• Grouting and sealing tile installations to ensure a professional finish
• Collaborating with other tradespeople to ensure a cohesive project outcome
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

• Certificate III Wall/Floor Tiling qualification required
• Minimum 4 years' experience as a commercial or residential Tiler
• Exceptional attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Good communication and customer service skills
• A current driver's licence and reliable transportation
• Legal work rights in Australia required
