Awanui Labs is New Zealand’s largest network of community and hospital pathology laboratories, providing nationwide diagnostic testing services across human health, animal health, and specialised laboratory testing through a unified national network.A Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) is a healthcare professional who collects, prepares, and analyzes patient samples (blood, urine, tissue, and other body fluids) to help doctors diagnose, monitor, and treat diseases. MLTs work in hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, blood banks, research centers, and clinics. Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesCollect blood and other patient specimens.Label, process, and store samples correctly.Perform laboratory tests on blood, urine, tissue, and other body fluids.Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and analyzers.Prepare slides and specimens for microscopic examination.Conduct tests for infections, bacteria, blood disorders, and other diseases.Match blood for transfusions and perform compatibility testing.Record, verify, and report test results accurately.Follow laboratory safety and quality-control procedures.Pay: $4,100.00 – $5,600.00 per monthBenefits:
