Requirements

Senior Test Executive Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is usually required. Some employers may prefer candidates with a master’s degree or relevant certifications in software testing or quality assurance.
• Significant experience in software testing and quality assurance, typically 8-10+ years.
• Proven experience in a leadership or management role within a testing team or QA department.
• Experience in defining test strategies, creating test plans, and executing test cases.
• Familiarity with various testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and their application in software development projects.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, techniques, and tools.
• Proficiency in creating and executing test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.
• Knowledge of test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Knowledge of API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Experience in implementing and improving QA processes, standards, and best practices.
• Knowledge of defect tracking and management tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
• Experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
