Data Analyst (Developer) Amsterdam, Netherlands. Salary up to €55k + benefits.

The RoleAs a Data Analytics Engineer, you will sit within a central data analytics team, working closely with data scientists, analysts, and senior stakeholders. Your focus will be on the engineering side of analytics, building robust, reusable solutions that turn complex data into clear, high-quality outputs for consultants and clients.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Designing and developing automated analytics and reporting solutions using Python.
  • Building bespoke, interactive visualisations using libraries such as Plotly and web-based technologies including HTML and JavaScript frameworks.
  • Creating reusable components and scalable analytics pipelines that are production-ready.
  • Supporting both ad hoc analysis and longer-term product development initiatives.
  • Contributing to cloud, platform, and tooling initiatives including Databricks migration and AI or LLM-driven projects.
  • Acting as a technical partner to analysts and data scientists, bringing strong engineering standards into the team.


Your Skills and Experience
  • Strong Python development skills with a clear interest in engineering analytics solutions.
  • Experience building data visualisations and client-facing analytical outputs.
  • Comfort working with modern data and visualisation tools such as Plotly, D3, ggplot, or Chart.js.
  • A solid grounding in computer science or a similar technical discipline.
  • Experience or interest in cloud platforms and data tooling such as AWS and Databricks.
  • Curiosity around emerging technologies, including AI and large language models.
  • The ability to translate analytical work into clear, well-structured outputs for non-technical users.
