We're partnering with a high-growth technology company that leverages advanced machine learning and large-scale data systems to power millions of user interactions and billions of real-time decisions every day.
As a Senior Data Scientist, you'll work on challenging optimisation and prediction problems at global scale, developing models that directly influence user engagement, monetisation, and business performance. You'll have end-to-end ownership across the ML lifecycle, from research and experimentation through to deployment and measurement in production.
What You'll DoDesign, develop, and deploy machine learning models for prediction, recommendation, optimisation, and user behaviour modelling.Build scalable solutions using deep learning, gradient boosting, and advanced statistical techniques.Develop and improve bidding, ranking, targeting, pricing, or optimisation algorithms.Analyse large-scale behavioural datasets to identify opportunities and drive business impact.Lead experimentation and A/B testing initiatives to validate model performance.Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions.Mentor data scientists and contribute to technical excellence across the team.Drive models from concept through production deployment and monitoring.
What We're Looking For5+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Applied Research, or a related field.Strong hands-on experience with Python and modern ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.Proven track record of deploying machine learning models into production environments at scale.Expertise with SQL and large-scale data processing tools such as Spark, Athena, Trino, Ray, or similar technologies.Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, experimentation, and statistical modelling.Experience with recommendation systems, optimisation, LTV prediction, reinforcement learning, or large-scale user modelling is highly desirable.Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.AdTech, Gaming, E-commerce, Marketplace, or Consumer Tech experience is a plus.
What's On OfferWork on large-scale ML systems serving hundreds of millions of users globally.Ownership and autonomy over impactful, business-critical projects.Modern ML and data infrastructure supporting rapid experimentation and deployment.Hybrid working model based in Hamburg (3 days onsite).Flexible working hours.International relocation and visa support available.Competitive compensation and strong career development opportunities.Collaborative, international team environment with colleagues from around the world.
If you're excited by large-scale machine learning, real-time decision systems, and solving complex optimisation challenges, we'd love to hear from you.
