Our client, a reputable and growing healthcare organization, is hiring a dedicated Infectious Disease Physician to join a vibrant, multidisciplinary team committed to delivering exceptional patient care. Position Overview

Seeking two qualified Infectious Disease physicians—one focused on general infectious disease practice, including new graduates and upcoming fellows or residents, and the other in a leadership capacity emphasizing inpatient care and team oversight. The role involves providing comprehensive outpatient services, especially HIV primary care, alongside light inpatient responsibilities. The environment is dynamic, collaborative, and mission-driven, emphasizing community health impact and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient and outpatient infectious disease care, including HIV management and PrEP.
  • Participate in a shared call rotation of 1:3, predominantly telephonic.
  • Serve as a core faculty member involved in teaching and mentoring residents and house staff.
  • Engage in leadership activities (for leadership role) to support program growth, policy development, and team coordination.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including nurses, diabetic educators, and case managers.
  • Maintain certifications as needed and pursue additional training in HIV or antibiotic stewardship if applicable.
  • Contribute to program development efforts funded through recent grants, including support services expansion.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board-certified or eligible in Infectious Diseases.
  • Strong clinical experience in infectious disease management.
  • Prior experience or interest in HIV care, certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, cultural competence, and ability to work within a diverse patient population.
  • Bilingual candidates, particularly Spanish-speaking, are highly preferred.
  • Ability to obtain or hold relevant certifications, including HIV certification.
  • Willingness to obtain HIV certification if not currently certified.
  • Leadership experience is desired for the inpatient-focused role.
