Finance Executive

BOQ Group is an Australian challenger banking group operating Bank of Queensland, Virgin Money Australia, and BOQ Specialist, serving retail and business customers.A Finance Executive manages financial operations, reporting, budgeting, and business performance analysis within a company or government organisation. Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial reports and statements
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes
• Monitor cash flow and company expenses
• Conduct financial analysis and performance reviews
• Support audits and compliance activities
• Process accounts payable and receivable
• Assist with payroll and taxation reporting
• Maintain accounting systems and financial records
• Provide recommendations to senior management
• Ensure compliance with Australian financial regulations

Skills & Qualifications Most employers prefer:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
• CPA or CA qualification (preferred for senior roles)
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Knowledge of Australian tax and finance regulations
• ERP/accounting software experience
• Attention to detail and communication skills
