- Manage and inspire a staff of stylists, barbers, and beauty specialists through mentoring and performance assessments.
- Organise appointments at the front desk to guarantee top‑note client happiness and customer service.
- Implement upselling methods to promote additional services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, and retail merchandise.
- Maintain excellent standards of sanitation, hygiene, and safeguarding within the salon area.
- Organise staff schedules to optimise coverage during peak hours while ensuring work‑life balance for team members.
- Professionally respond to customer questions, addressing any issues as soon as possible to promote loyalty.
- Assist in training new staff members to uphold the salon’s standards of service excellence.
- Encourage a friendly environment that promotes great ratings and repeat business.
Experience & Skills Required (Salon Manager UK)
- Proven expertise in store management within the beauty or grooming business.
- A strong background in barbering or similar hairdressing services is highly desirable.
- Outstanding customer service abilities and the capacity to interact with clients and colleagues in an efficient manner.
- Experience managing reservations, payments, and customer enquiries while working at the front desk.
- Demonstrated mentoring abilities to enhance staff growth and team cohesion.
- Knowledge of specific treatments such as eyelash extensions and cosmetics application is advantageous.
