Cook for temporary foreign workers (LMIA exempt)

Overview
We are working with various restaurants outside Quebec who are looking to hire restaurant staff from Quebec who are on work permits that are expiring soon and cannot be renewed. If you speak French and English and are looking to work outside Quebec then please contact us. Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards
• Serve food to customers efficiently and courteously
• Handle food with proper safety and sanitation procedures
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, and assembling dishes
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
• Ensure all food handling practices comply with health regulations
• Support team members during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations
• Follow all safety protocols related to kitchen equipment and food storage

Qualifications

• Experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred
• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
• Understanding of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
• Strong serving skills with excellent customer service abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Prior experience in the food industry or related fields such as catering or hospitality is a plus
