General Practitioner – Flying Scotsman Health Centre Location:

The Flying Scotsman Health Centre Salary:
Up to £112,500 depending on experience Hours:

4‑9 sessions per week At Operose Health we deliver local primary care at scale, aiming to improve access, outcomes and patient experience. Our values of caring, ambitious, resourceful and excellence guide our work.Responsibilities
  • Deliver high‑quality clinical care to registered patients and support the operational plan of the GP surgery.
  • Maintain quality through participation in clinical governance, audits and the Quality and Outcomes Framework, helping the practice achieve CQC and other standards.
  • Provide patient care via in‑person, video, and telephone triage, plus related clinical administration and safeguarding duties, without out‑of‑hours on‑call.
  • Adhere to the GMC professional standards and prioritize individualized patient care.
  • Collaborate with the Practice Manager and site clinical lead to develop, deliver and review the surgery action plan, targeting list growth, patient satisfaction, QOF, KPI and resource management.

Qualifications
  • Current registration with GMC and NHS list, with regular clinical work.
  • GP accreditation (MRCGP or equivalent).
  • Commitment to quality and patient‑focused services.
  • Knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, CQUINs and appropriate coding.
  • Working knowledge of clinical systems such as Systm One or EMISweb is desirable.
