- Prepare a variety of coffee beverages and other drinks according to company standards
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a courteous and timely manner
- Assist with food preparation tasks, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organisation within the workspace
- Manage cash register operations, including handling payments accurately using basic maths skills
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers professionally and efficiently
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
Experience
- Previous barista experience is highly desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food safety standards is preferred
- Experience in serving or hospitality roles will be advantageous
- Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods and multitask efficiently
- Strong organisational skills to maintain cleanliness and order within the workspace
