You won't be joining an existing legal team — you'll build the function from scratch, serve as the company's primary deal counsel on commercial agreements with top pharma and biotech organizations, and have a direct seat at the table across finance, compliance, and company strategy. At $220K–$320K base plus equity, the compensation is structured to compete with BigLaw while delivering the autonomy and upside that BigLaw cannot. Visa sponsorship is available for all types, including H-1B and TN transfers — a genuine differentiator at this stage and seniority.\-------------------------------------------------------------ABOUT THE ROLEYou'll be the company's sole legal resource, advising the deal team in real time on complex commercial contracts with major life sciences customers, building internal legal infrastructure from the ground up (templates, playbooks, processes), and flexing into broader operational work across finance, compliance, and company-building.
