Job description

The title says Supply Chain Specialist. The job is being the person everyone can count on.
This is the quiet engine of the business. You hold the partners, the plan, and the details together, and keep the goods moving. Precisely, dependably, every time.
At a glance
  • What you’ll do: own the flow of goods end to end. Turn confirmed orders into a logistics and operational plan that lands every time, across EU, non-EU, and triangular lanes.
  • Salary: from EUR 3,150 depending on experience, based on a 40-hour week.
  • Where: on-site, between the warehouse, the sales floor, and finance. The coordination happens in the room, and we explain why below.
  • Languages: fluent English. Any other language is a plus.
  • You bring: a higher-education degree and, ideally, one to three years in supply chain, logistics, or transport, plus strong business English and comfort with spreadsheets and an ERP.
  • Visa: we’re a recognised Dutch Highly Skilled Migrant (Kennismigrant) sponsor, so the right person can come from anywhere.

Who we are B Futurist moves beauty products from markets that have too much to markets that need them, across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the Americas. Around 75 people, 33 nationalities, profitable, and growing fast. We’re at the interesting part of the climb: turning quick opportunistic deals into long-term retail relationships. We are founder-led, direct, and intentionally unbureaucratic. No politics, no unnecessary layers, just ownership and execution.
The role Own the flow of goods end to end. Business Development create the deals, and you make them real. You plan the inbound and outbound for confirmed orders, put each shipping lanes on the forwarders and operational partners that balances cost, speed, and reliability, clear the customs and dangerous-goods hurdles, and stay on it until the goods are delivered, billed, and closed. The edge that makes this role matter: nothing the company buys from suppliers and sells to customer without passing through you. When the chain holds, revenue lands on schedule. When it strains, you are the one who saw it coming and fixed it first. This is the first supply chain level that plans and owns the logistics and operational outcomes of each assigned deal, not just executes them.
What you’ll actually do •  Own the plan. Plan the inbound and outbound for confirmed orders, put each shipping lanes on the forwarders and operational partners that balances cost, speed, and reliability.•  Be the hub. Become the connecting point for Business Development, Warehouse, Finance, forwarders, customers, suppliers. You are the single point everyone checks with, and the one who keeps them aligned and informed.•  Keep it compliant. Run the DG and customs checks, prepare clean document packs, and coordinate brokers so nothing gets held at a border.•  Chase it to done. Track every action and change, follow up until commitments are closed and not just started, and flag a risk before it becomes a problem.•  Negotiate the rate. Collect spot quotes, push for the real number, and propose new forwarders when the current ones fall short.•  Watch the numbers. Monitor logistics cost and lead time KPIs for each assigned scope and propose corrective actions when they slip•  Tighten the system. Improve the SOPs you work from, automate process step using AI and other emerging technology, train the new joiners who come after you, and make each shipment run smoother than the last.
How you’ll grow Your first weeks are about learning the logistics and operational framework, the partners, and the way information moves through our ERP system and communications tools. We give you the structure and the people to learn fast, but the real teacher is actual orders and shipments. You are the connecting point between the warehouse and the sales floor on purpose, close enough to catch a problem the moment it appears. That is why this role is on-site: a delay you hear about in the room is a delay you can still fix. From there you grow by owning more. More lanes, bigger plans, tougher partners, the cost-reduction projects that move real euros. Promotion here is about what you can reliably hold, not how long you have been here.
What you get
  • A salary starting from EUR 3,150 depending on experience.
  • 25 days off plus your birthday,
  • 100% employer-paid pension,
  • Friday drinks,
  • Subsidised warm lunch at the office,
  • Subsidised Urban Sports Club,
  • Travel reimbursement,
  • Christmas party worth staying for.
  • Kennismigrant visa sponsorship, so the right person can come from anywhere.
  • A flat, casual team from 33 nationalities where you can be completely yourself.
  •  And Punk, our company dog, who is better at being himself than most of us.

How to apply Submit your CV along with one short paragraph (max 100 words): a time you caught a problem before it blew up, or held something together when it was falling apart. What you did, and how it ended. Skip the cover letter, just answer that.
