About the RoleAs a Speech Pathologist / Therapist (Contractor) at Crescent Care, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, community-based speech therapy services to clients across the Liverpool and South Western Sydney area. This is a flexible contract role where you will travel to meet clients where they are — whether that's in their home, school, childcare centre, or community setting — providing meaningful support that fits naturally into their everyday lives.You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver personalised, evidence-based care that empowers clients of all ages to achieve their communication and swallowing goals within the environments they know best. Work Location: Remote
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments across a variety of community settings, including clients' homes, schools, childcare centres, and other community locations
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans tailored to each client's goals, routines, and natural environment
- Deliver 1-on-1 and group therapy sessions in the settings most meaningful to each client
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with families, carers, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a consistent and coordinated approach to care
- Maintain detailed client records and documentation in line with professional and organisational standards
- Participate in regular team meetings and ongoing professional development activities
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology/Therapy
- Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia or equivalent professional body
- A genuine passion for working in the community and meeting clients in their natural environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, families, and support networks
- Excellent clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills adaptable to dynamic, real-world settings
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel across the Liverpool and South Western Sydney region
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development
