🎯 About the Fellowship
BBBS is selecting a cohort of 5–7 fellows for an intensive 9-day immersive program designed for educators, graduate students, researchers, and professionals who want to make a meaningful impact on young learners while experiencing Beijing's rich culture firsthand.
Fellows will design and teach original courses or workshops in English for middle and high school students, with topics tailored to each fellow's academic background, professional expertise, or personal passion. This is a rare opportunity to bring your knowledge into a dynamic international classroom — and to take something meaningful home with you.
This fellowship is especially well-suited for candidates who have studied or worked in the United States and are excited about cross-cultural education, youth mentorship, and global exchange.
✈️ Visa-free entry: Citizens of many countries, including the United States, currently enjoy up to 10 days of visa-free entry to China — making this program highly accessible for international applicants. 🎓 Qualifications
We welcome applicants who:
• Hold a teaching credential or certification (strongly preferred); current or former educators, graduate students, researchers, or professionals are also welcome• Have experience studying or working in the United States• Are passionate about cross-cultural education and meaningful communication with young people• Can create interactive, intellectually engaging learning experiences
A certified teaching credential is strongly preferred. Exceptional candidates from other fields who bring deep subject expertise and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching are also encouraged to apply.
