THE ROLE AT A GLANCE

Location:
The Beeches UK
  • Hours: Full-time — 40 hours per week (including sleep-ins, weekends, and shifts)

Salary: £27,497 per annum + up to £700 additional pay per month for sleep-in shifts Sleep-in Pay: Up to £700 per month (dependent on sleep-ins worked)
  • Shift Pattern: 1 day on, 2 days off rotation

Overtime: Paid at time and a quarter (x1.25) once the minimum 40 hours are worked ✔ Visa Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship may be considered for suitably qualified candidates applying for this role.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Providing a warm, safe, and supportive environment for young people
  • Building positive, trusting relationships that help young people thrive
  • Supporting and contributing to individual care plans and daily routines
  • Maintaining accurate records, logs, and written reports
  • Promoting independence, emotional wellbeing, and positive life skills


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience:
    Working with children and young people in a care, education, or support setting is preferred — international experience in equivalent roles will be fully considered
  • Passion: A genuine, person-centred commitment to making a positive difference in young people's lives
  • Qualification: Level 3 in Children & Young People's Residential Care (or equivalent overseas qualification) is preferred. If not currently held, enrolment after your probationary period is mandatory and will be fully funded by us
  • Right to Work: Applicants must either hold the right to work in the UK or be eligible for visa sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route — we will support eligible candidates through this process
  • Driving: Full UK driving licence preferred
  • Approach: Positive, resilient, adaptable, and a strong team player
