Warehouse Operations Assistant

Job SummaryThe Warehouse Operations Assistant supports daily warehouse activities to ensure efficient handling, storage, and distribution of goods. This role involves receiving shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, preparing orders, and keeping the warehouse organized and safe. Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock and materials
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch accurately and on time
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if licensed)
• Maintain inventory records and assist with stock counts and audits
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and rotation of goods
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries
• Report damaged goods, discrepancies, or safety concerns promptly
• Follow company policies and workplace health & safety procedures

Requirements & Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic computer skills (inventory systems, scanning devices)
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
