We are looking for a dedicated Level 3 Nursery Room Leader to join our wonderful Baby Room team at our beautiful Anerley Park setting - ideally located right on the Beckenham borders with fantastic, easy transport links. We offer excellent flexibility with options for either a 4-day or 5-day working week. What We Are Looking For
- Qualifications: Level 3 or above full and relevant early years qualification.
- Experience: Previous experience working in a nursery setting (ideally already as a Room Leader, or a senior practitioner ready to step up).
- Passion: A genuine love for working with babies and toddlers, with a fun, creative, and "get messy" attitude to play.
- Skills: Excellent teamwork skills, a positive can-do attitude, and the ability to use your own initiative to keep the room running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Room Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of the Baby Room, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and joyful environment.
- Creative Learning: Plan and implement engaging, sensory, and educational activities tailored to early childhood development.
- Team Guidance: Lead, mentor, and support your room practitioners, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.
- Parent Partnerships: Communicate effectively and warmly with parents regarding their children's daily milestones and well-being.
- Compliance: Maintain high standards of care in line with EYFS and safeguarding regulations.
