Visa Information

TTUHSC, at its sole discretion, may initiate new H-1B I-129 visa petitions in accordance with the directive issued by Governor Abbott. Approval from the Texas Workforce Commission is required. On a limited, case-by-case basis, the institution may also sponsor eligible individuals for change-of-status or change-of-employer petitions for qualifying positions. TTUHSC will not pay the $100,000 fee, if applicable.

Position Description

Manages and directs the day-to-day operations of a research center/institute or medium-sized department. Plans, coordinates and supervises the operation and activities of the center/institute/department. Develops and implements policies and procedures, administers the budget, organizes tasks and sets priorities.

Major/Essential Functions

• Develop and oversee the organization’s clinical training team and strategy aligned with operational and patient care goals.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership and operations to align training with efficient and effective workflows.
• Partner with analysts and informatics teams to incorporate build changes into training.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree plus six years of progressively responsible management experience OR a combination of education and/or years of experience in management to equal a minimum of 10 years.

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in adult learning principles and training program development.
• Understands ambulatory clinical workflows and healthcare operations.
• Experience with helpdesk support models and issue escalation processes.
