We're on the hunt for a Intermediate Concrete Technician to join our Auckland team, based in Onehunga. This is a Monday - Friday role with occasional nightworks and Saturdays, offering variety across site and laboratory work. You'll be part of a forward thinking, supportive team and friendly team. As a Intermediate Concrete Technician, you'll provide third-party quality assurance testing and teachnical support to our clients and engineers. You'll work autonomously (with strong backing from the wider team) and be trusted to manage your day effectively across multiple sites and priorities. You'll bring proven experience in concrete testing, confidence working independently, and a practical, hands-on approach. You’ll have: * 2+ years’ relevant experience in concrete testing / construction materials testing * Experience performing slump tests and casting cylinders in line with NZS 3112 * The confidence and initiative to work with minimal supervision * A strong focus on quality, accuracy and safety * Full, clean Class 1 driver licence * Good computer skills (especially Microsoft Excel and Word) * Great communication skills—clear, professional and client-friendly * Physical capability to lift up to 25kg, and handle/test aggregate and concrete samples * IANZ laboratory experience * Strong time management and the ability to juggle multiple jobs/sites * A team-first attitude with a positive, can-do mindset Why join Geotechnics At Geotechnics we believe you should love your job and the environment you work in.
