Consultant Paediatrician | Tertiary Referral Hospital | Northern Territory
The Opportunity
We are working closely with a major tertiary referral hospital in the Northern Territory and are keen to connect with FRACP-qualified Paediatricians interested in full-time opportunities within a comprehensive and high-impact service.
The department provides acute inpatient paediatrics, newborn care and outpatient services across a vast regional and remote catchment. Consultants are involved in multidisciplinary care delivery within a structured tertiary environment.
This role will appeal to Paediatricians seeking clinical breadth, complexity and meaningful regional impact.
The Hospital & Paediatric Services
This is the principal tertiary referral hospital for the Northern Territory.
Paediatric services include:

• General inpatient paediatrics
• Neonatal and Special Care support
• Emergency paediatric presentations
• Multidisciplinary care for complex cases
• Integration with Obstetrics, ICU and retrieval services
• Regional and remote referral responsibilities

The service manages diverse and high-acuity presentations reflective of its broad geographic catchment.

Requirements

• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP – Paediatrics)
• Specialist Registration with AHPRA (or eligibility)
• International Medical Graduates assessed by RACP as partially or substantially comparable
