Civil CAD Designer – Flowpath Engineering Consultants NZ Job DescriptionFlowpath Engineering Consultants is seeking a skilled Civil CAD Designer to support the delivery of land development and civil infrastructure projects across New Zealand. This role is responsible for preparing accurate engineering drawings, plans, and technical documentation for subdivision, stormwater, wastewater, water supply, and roading projects.Working closely with engineers, surveyors, planners, and project managers, the Civil CAD Designer will help transform engineering concepts into practical and compliant designs using industry-standard CAD software. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3DDevelop designs for subdivisions, earthworks, roading, stormwater, wastewater, and water supply infrastructureCreate site layouts, grading plans, longitudinal sections, and cross-sectionsAssist with design calculations and technical documentationProduce drawings for resource consent and engineering approval applicationsUpdate and revise plans based on client, council, and project requirementsInterpret survey data and incorporate it into engineering designsEnsure drawings comply with New Zealand standards and council regulationsSupport construction monitoring and as-built documentation when requiredMaintain CAD standards, templates, and project records Skills and RequirementsQualification in Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related fieldProficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3DExperience with land development and civil infrastructure projectsKnowledge of stormwater, wastewater, and subdivision design principlesAbility to interpret engineering drawings and survey informationStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsGood communication and teamwork abilitiesExperience within a consulting engineering environment is advantageousPay: From $9,000.00 per monthBenefits:
