- Prepare, examine, and analyse financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with recognised accounting standards.
- Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice verification and payment processing.
- Utilise ERP systems such as SAP, Sage, or Xero for data entry, reporting, and financial management tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions using accounting software like QuickBooks and Xero.
- Reconcile accounts and prepare journal entries to ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Monitor cash flow and assist in managing organisational financial health.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to financial management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role within a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems like SAP or other enterprise resource planning tools.
- Experience with financial accounting processes including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger management.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is preferred but not essential.
