• Lead and execute high-volume breakfast and lunch service with consistency and speed.
• Prepare and plate a range of menu items – from eggs benedict and loaded toasties to burgers, and vibrant salads.
• Follow set recipes while contributing to weekly specials and seasonal updates.
• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained to the highest level.
• Manage prep, stock rotation, ordering, and wastage minimisation.
• Work closely with front-of-house for smooth service and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment.

You’ll Need:

• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar café or short-order kitchen.
• Strong skills in breakfast-style cooking: poaching, pan-frying, grill, eggs mastery, etc.
• Ability to multi-task under pressure, especially during peak morning and lunchtime rush.
• Confidence working solo or as part of a small team.
• A great attitude, solid work ethic, and pride in presentation and consistency.
• Food Safety Certificate (essential), and chef trade qualifications
