We’re looking for Industrial Sewing Machine Operators to join our friendly, tight-knit team as we expand to cope with increased demand. About Us Centrally located in Tauranga, our modern facilities are located on the edge of transport network and logistics hubs that service all of NZ from its busiest port. We specialise, and are market leaders, in creating curtains, drapes and blinds What we’re looking for In this hands-on role, you’ll need to be confident in: * Using an industrial sewing machine * Cutting fabric using automation, tape measures and scissors * Measuring fabric using tape measures and adjusting seems/hems with pins/pegs * Finishing curtains by gathering and hooking * Using irons to press seems and hems * Possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic * Have good attention to detail and commitment to quality * Being a team player who’s willing to learn and pitch in where needed What’s in it for you? · Full time hours – Monday to Friday 1.30pm to 10pm with Saturday work often available * Pay rate of $26-$27 per hour * Training available in all areas of the process if necessary * Supportive, friendly team environment * Be part of a well-established, NZ owned business with a strong reputation for quality craftsmanship * Visa sponsorship available for applicants who can prove minimum 2 years work experience on industrial sewing machines Interested?
