An exciting opportunity has arisen for a compassionate individual to join the Adult Acute Speech and Language Therapy team at Addenbrooke’s Hospital.OverviewThis role involves supporting adults with acquired communication and swallowing difficulties across a range of acute wards, including medical, surgical, respiratory and other specialist services. You will work closely with qualified Speech and Language Therapists and a multidisciplinary team to provide assessment and rehabilitation under their supervision.Responsibilities
EligibilityDue to Home Office immigration rules, a full‑time permanent vacancy cannot be filled by individuals on a Student visa. Applicants on a Student visa will only be offered a full‑time permanent contract if they have:

- Provide direct patient contact, including assessment, therapy and delegated therapy programmes for adults with communication and swallowing difficulties.
- Assist with the preparation of therapy resources, communication aids and digital tools.
- Maintain accurate documentation, contribute to data collection and support service organisation.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, recognising the limits of your role and seeking guidance as required.
- Receive structured support, supervision and training to develop skills in communication and dysphagia.

- applied for a Graduate visa,
- or completed your course and applied for a Graduate visa before the anticipated start date of employment,
- or the Trust has agreed to sponsor you as a Skilled Worker and you will complete your studies within three months of your start date.
