- Coordinate all aspects of events from initial planning to final execution, ensuring all client specifications are met
- Lead and manage the front‑of‑house team to deliver exceptional hospitality standards
- Upsell additional services and products to maximise revenue opportunities
- Oversee event setup, décor, and logistics to ensure smooth operations
- Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams to maintain clear communication
- Handle guest enquiries professionally and provide excellent customer service
- Manage time effectively to ensure all event components run to schedule
- Assist with fundraising activities and special promotional events
- Maintain accurate organisational records, including bookings, payments, and client preferences
Requirements
- Experience using Opera PMS (Opera 5 or Opera Cloud) is essential
- Proven experience in restaurant or hotel management, or in organising weddings or corporate events
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to upsell and increase revenue streams
- Exceptional time‑management skills and strong attention to detail
- Experience in guest services or hospitality environments preferred
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism and courtesy
- Fundraising experience is advantageous but not essential
- A proactive, hands‑on approach to ensuring all aspects of events run smoothly
