Visa-H1B/H4-EAD PreferredSeeking a detail-oriented QA Automation Tester skilled in Selenium Automation, API testing and Karate Framework to join our Automation team. Candidates must have Annuity domain knowledge with 6 to 14 years of experience. Strong in Underwriting Life Insurance experience domain knowledge
Technical Skills:Automation TesterKey Responsibilities• Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks and test suites using Selenium, Java, and BDD Cucumber.• Implement API automation testing using tools such as Karate Framework for RESTful and SOAP web services.• Write clean, reusable, and scalable Java-based automation code following best practices.• Execute, monitor, and maintain automated regression, smoke, and integration test suites.• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth execution across environments.• Perform test execution using TestNG and generate detailed test reports.• Collaborate closely with developers, manual testers, and product teams to understand requirements and improve test coverage.• Identify automation gaps, improve existing frameworks, and optimize test execution.• Analyze test results, log defects, and work with teams to ensure timely resolution.• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior automation engineers as required.
Required Skills Deep domain knowledge of Life Insurance Underwriting (mandatory) Strong and proven hands-on experience in:• Selenium Automation• BDD Cucumber• API Testing• Karate Framework Excellent Java programming skills, with solid understanding of OOP concepts. Experience in testing Web Services (RESTful and SOAP). Strong knowledge of TestNG framework. Hands-on experience with at least one build tool: Maven or ANT Experience in writing, executing, monitoring, and maintaining automated test suites. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. Ability to translate business rules into effective test scenarios

Secondary Skills:• Annuity knowledge: Fixed, Variable & Indexed Annuities. Should know IRA plans e.g. Traditional IRA, Roth IRA, 401(k), 403 (b), 457, SEP, SIMPLE• AI skillset is preferred• Perform simple SQL queries.• Insurance domain with US based ANNUITY domain knowledge• Agent Compensation: Work with agents to establish compensation structures that incentivize sales and customer satisfaction.• Create & review test plan, test strategy & test cases.• Experience integrating automation tests with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.• Exposure to cloud-based testing environments.• Experience in leading test automation initiatives or frameworks.• OOPs and JDBC Concepts.• Database- MySQL, Oracle• Debugging/Version Control- GIT, Subversion• Problem-solving and analytical skills; Strong programming skills• Communication skills: verbal, both one-on-one and with a group, and written
