Senior Scientist / Principal InvestigatorNational Talent Program(Flexible / Remote-Friendly)
About the OpportunityWe are supporting applications for National Talent Program, a flagship initiative designed to attract world-class scientists and technology leaders to collaborate with top universities, national laboratories, and leading high-tech enterprises.
This opportunity is flexible, international-friendly, and open to remote or hybrid participation at the early stage.
Target Candidates
We welcome PhD-level researchers with strong international backgrounds in STEM fields, including but not limited to:
Life Sciences & Biomedicine
Chemistry & Materials
Physics & Semiconductor Devices
AI, IT, Advanced Manufacturing
Energy, New Materials, Photonics, etc.
Ideal profiles include:
Overseas Associate Professor / Senior Researcher / Principal Scientist
Senior technical leaders in industry
Researchers with strong publications, patents, or project experience
Candidates currently based outside China (or returned after Jan 1, 2025)
Work Model
Flexible engagement: full-time, part-time, or project-based
Remote participation supported during the initial period
On-site presence can be arranged flexibly based on project needs
No requirement to relocate immediately
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary: ~USD 200,000 (varies by host institution and role)
One-time govt grant upon selection: up to USD 300,000
Additional research funding may be available for strong candidates
Visa support (long-term talent visa), healthcare, housing, and family support
