- Collect, clean, and interpret large datasets using SQL, R, Python, and other relevant tools.
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualisations using Tableau and Power BI to communicate findings effectively.
- Design and optimise databases in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server, ensuring data integrity and efficiency.
- Conduct business analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Manage projects throughout the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), ensuring timely delivery of analytical solutions.
- Create detailed documentation including database schemas, analysis reports, and process workflows using Visio.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Automate data processing tasks using VBA and Bash (Unix shell) scripting to improve operational efficiency.
- Support ongoing database design enhancements and implement best practices for data security and compliance.
Skills
- Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, R, Python, SQL (including Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server).
- Strong understanding of SDLC principles and project management methodologies.
- Experience with business analysis techniques and database design principles.
- Advanced data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets accurately.
- Familiarity with VBA scripting and Bash (Unix shell) for automation purposes.
- Ability to create clear visualisations and reports that facilitate strategic decision-making.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation using Visio or similar tools.
