We are local family company opening a brand new community pharmacy in York and have an exciting new opportunity! We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Pharmacist to lead their pharmacy team in providing exceptional patient care and medication management. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise, leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of pharmacy operations including Pharmacy First, vaccination clinics and an array of new pharmacy services. - Lead daily pharmacy operations, ensuring efficient medication dispensing, inventory management, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Oversee patient medication management, including assessments, medication reviews, and personalized care plans.
- Deliver a range of professional pharmacy services including Pharmacy First, vaccination clinics, BP testing, weight management etc
- Ensure compliance with all regulations and other healthcare standards.
- Work with local care homes and GP's offering outstanding patient care and service
- Utilize pharmacy software and systems for accurate documentation and medication tracking.
- Coordinate immunizations, medication administration protocols, and patient education initiatives.
- Participate in quality assurance activities related to patient safety, medication efficacy, and regulatory compliance.
Experience
- Proven experience in community pharmacy settings with a strong background in clinical pharmacy practice.
- Have a passion for community pharmacy and providing the best care for our patients.
- Hands-on experience with pharmacy software systems
- Have knowledge of pharmacy operations and of national and local services
- Experience with immunisations administration and medication management
- Prior experience within a pharmacy setting is required. This role requires a GPhC registered pharmacist committed to delivering high-quality patient care through expert medication management. The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive skill set encompassing medical management, patient service excellence, technical proficiency in pharmacy operations, and a dedication to continuous professional development
