POSITION AVAILABLE - CHEF.The Hotel Nicholas Beechworth has a position available for a full time Chef.Salary$70,000 Award conditions apply.The Hotel established in 1857 is in the heart of historic Beechworth in the foothills of the Victorian Alps.The Hotel is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week and provides good pub food with Asian selections, a quality local wine list, boutique beer and on tap beer and cider.You must be able to –

• Work collaboratively with and under the direction of the head Chef
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team
• Maintain consistency and quality standards of the kitchen
• Maintain cost-effectiveness and efficiency in the kitchen
• Assist in the supervision of kitchen and subordinate staff
• Have a professional attitude
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Have knowledge of current food trends and cooking techniques
• Maintain OHS and hygiene standards
