This role combines technical expertise with consulting, and client advisory responsibilities. The consultant works with clients to strengthen identity security, enable zero-trust architectures, and ensure regulatory compliance across hybrid and cloud environments, while also supporting business growth and client relationship development. - Implement IAM architectures aligned with Zero Trust and defence-in-depth principles.
- Implement IAM solution design across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
- Support implementations and optimizations of IAM platforms
- Learn about new technologies and build expertise across the IAM space.
Consulting & Advisory
- Contribute to all type of IAM engagements such assessments / audit, implements project, managed services, support.
- Act as a trusted advisor to security, IT, and business stakeholders.
- Support workshops, requirements gathering, and technical design sessions.
- Support IAM assessment including providing strategic recommendations on IAM maturity and roadmap planning
- Support the completion of all deliverables expected on IAM projects end-to-end, from assessment and design to implementation, Go-Live and handover.
- Ensure transparency and alignment through regular status updates and stakeholder briefings.
- Can fulfil the responsibilities of different roles as consultant such (but not limited to): - business analyst, developer, tester, support resource.
- Stay current with IAM trends, technologies, and regulatory changes.
Delivery
- Support IAM projects end-to-end, from assessment and design to implementation, Go-Live and handover.
- Exhibit technical proficiency, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and support of IAM applications and services.
- Ensure all deliverables are completed to a high-quality standard, consistently meeting professional expectations and company guidelines.

- Ensure change management.
Client Relationship Management & Business Development
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with client stakeholders, including security, IT, and business leaders.
- Ensure high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance to meet and exceed their IAM needs and expectations.
- Identify client needs, risks, and opportunities related to identity and access management.
- Support business development activities by contributing to proposals, solution designs, and client presentations.
- Collaborate with sales and account teams to identify follow-on work and support the growth of IAM services.
Internal Contributions
- Actively participate in internal initiatives, including knowledge sharing, process improvements, and mentoring junior staff.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of the firm’s delivery standards.
- Actively contribute to the organisational culture by adhering to and promoting the principles and behaviours as outlined in the Company Values.
- Collaborate across teams to foster a positive, high performance culture.
Knowledge & Experience
- Proven track record as a IAM Consultant in cybersecurity and identity management projects.
- Hands-on experience with IAM technologies such as Entra AD, Okta, SailPoint, Ping Identity, or ForgeRock (mandatory for: All Ping AM/CIAM on-premises components such PingFederate, PingDirectory, PingAccess, etc.).
- Experience working in consultancy or client-facing roles, ideally within enterprise environments.
- Operates independently with minimal supervision.
- Exposure to regulatory frameworks and compliance standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIST.
- Involvement in end-to-end Access Management / CIAM project delivery, from discovery and design through to implementation and support.
- Experience in on-premises, hybrid and cloud-based IAM environments.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or vendor-specific IAM certifications) are highly desirable.
Skills
- 2+ years’ experience in IAM.
- 2+ years’ experience working for a consultancy firm specialised in IAM or Cybersecurity.
Advanced skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience on PingFederate and on the other on premises components of the CIAM/AM stack.
- (Nice to have) 2+ years of hands-on experience with PingOne (SaaS offering of Ping). Good understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles such Identity lifecycle, SSO, MFA.
- Strong understanding of standards and frameworks for authentication and authorisation (e.g., SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect).
- Good communication skills; able to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences. Skilled in producing good-quality documentation.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a structured approach to work.
