Begin date: 6/22/2026 Full Time: Yes Number of Workers Requested: 27 Job Duties: B&M Harvesting LLC (FLC), (27) Temporary Agricultural Workers for (Van Buren and Allegan Counties), in Michigan (June/22/2026, to September/13/2026). "Harvesting Blueberry”, "Blueberry Packing" include receiving, dumping, inspecting, boxing, stacking, selecting, and shipping all fruit; making boxes, stickering boxes; cleaning buckets, lugs, equipment, and facilities; monitoring food safety; and driving buses on the blueberry farm. "Blueberry Packing": Packinghouse workers typically do a variety of jobs related to the packaging and shipping of blueberries. Duties include receiving, dumping, inspecting, boxing, stacking, and shipping of fruit. Other jobs include making boxes, stickering boxes, cleaning buckets, lugs, equipment, and facilities; and monitoring food safety. All workers at the packing plant must wear long-sleeved shirts, long pants, and closed shoes to protect against the low temperatures.” The job is indoors and outdoors, and continues in all types of weather. Prolonged walking, standing, bending, stooping, and reaching. Able to lift and carry 50 pounds repetitively throughout the workday. Workers should be physically able to do the work required with or without reasonable accommodation. It should not hinder the productivity of another worker. The use, possession, or being under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol during working time is prohibited. Workers may be requested to submit to random drug or alcohol testing at no cost to the worker. Failure to comply with the request or testing positive may result in immediate termination. Requires 1 month of verifiable work experience in blueberry manual harvesting. $3.25 per Bucket (1 Gallon) or equivalent/Blueberry. The estimated hourly rate is $13.78/hr. guaranteed for “U.S. workers (A1)”, and the estimated hourly rate is $13.73/hr. guaranteed for “H-2A workers (B1)”. 35 hours a week. 1st-week warranty. Housing is provided at no cost to workers who cannot reasonably return to their residency daily. The tools are provided by the employer at no cost. 3/4 scheduled working hours guaranteed. Transport/subsistence reimbursed for the costs incurred by reporting to the workplace if the worker completes half the period of employment. Return Transportation Refunded if the worker terminates the contract. The employer understands that the Fair Labor Standards Act applies independently of the H-2A requirements and imposes. obligations on employers regarding payment of wages. 20 CFR 655.122(h)(1). In the event a female worker is hired, the employer will provide separate sleeping, bathing, and toilet facilities for male and female workers. Must be 18 years old.
