We invite you to apply and become part of our vibrant hospitality team. Company: Liverpool Atlantic Tower Hotel by Sunday Location: 1-2 Chapel Street, Liverpool L3 9AG Key Responsibilities : 1. Department Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, manage and inspire the housekeeping team to deliver consistently high standards of cleanliness and guest service.
  • Recruit, train, develop and motivate staff; conduct performance reviews and manage attendance and performance issues.
  • Prepare and manage work schedules/rotas to meet operational demands, including peak and seasonal periods.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support, fostering a positive and professional team culture.

2. Quality Standards & Inspection
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, corridors, public areas and back-of-house spaces to ensure high standards are consistently maintained.
  • Monitor work quality and implement corrective actions when standards fall below expectations.
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints regarding cleanliness promptly and professionally.

3. Operational Management
  • Ensure housekeeping operations run smoothly and efficiently, working closely with Front Office, Maintenance and other departments.
  • Oversee cleaning procedures, housekeeping equipment, linen handling and use of cleaning chemicals in line with hotel standards and COSHH regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of activity, inspections, inventory usage and staff performance.

4. Inventory & Budget Control
  • Monitor and control departmental budgets including cleaning supplies, linens, amenities and equipment.
  • Order and maintain adequate stock levels, ensuring cost-effective purchasing and minimising waste.
  • Report weekly/monthly performance and key metrics to senior management.

5. Compliance & Health & Safety
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards, including safe handling of chemicals and housekeeping equipment.
  • Implement and monitor housekeeping policies and procedures.
