Job DescriptionAs a Registered Electrician, you will carry out field-based electrical work across residential, commercial, and property maintenance sites, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality electrical installations and repairs. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance workDiagnose and repair electrical faults in residential and commercial propertiesInstall and upgrade power and lighting systemsWork on switchboards, protection devices, and electrical circuitsInstall hot water systems, appliance circuits, and general wiringInstall and maintain data, CCTV, alarm, and security systemsConduct electrical testing and certification in line with EWRB standardsRespond to emergency callouts and fault breakdownsRead and interpret electrical plans and wiring diagramsEnsure compliance with NZ electrical regulations and safety standardsCommunicate technical issues clearly to clientsSupport and guide apprentices on-site when required Requirements EssentialNZ Registered Electrician licence (EWRB)Experience in residential service or commercial maintenance workStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skillsGood communication and customer service abilityAbility to work independently in field-based rolesFull NZ driver’s licence (for service vehicle use) PreferredExperience with multi-service systems (CCTV, security, HVAC integration)Strong understanding of NZ electrical compliance standardsExperience mentoring apprentices or junior electricians BenefitsField-based role with varied residential and commercial workExposure to emergency, maintenance, and installation projectsOpportunity to work with advanced building systems and technologiesStable role with ongoing technical development opportunitiesPay: From $7,200.00 per monthBenefits:
