Consultant Nephrologist | Major Tertiary Teaching Hospital | Queensland
The Opportunity
We are working closely with a major tertiary teaching hospital in Queensland and are keen to connect with FRACP-qualified Nephrologists interested in full-time opportunities within an established and high-volume Renal Medicine service.
The role includes acute inpatient nephrology, chronic kidney disease management, dialysis oversight and outpatient renal clinics. Consultants work within a structured multidisciplinary framework and contribute to education and service development.
This opportunity will appeal to Nephrologists seeking tertiary-level practice combined with regional impact.

- In-centre haemodialysis services
- Oversight of satellite dialysis units
- Integration with ICU and acute medical services
- Structured referral pathways for renal transplantation to metropolitan centres
- Teaching and supervision within a recognised training environment

- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) – Nephrology
- Specialist Registration with AHPRA (or eligibility)
- International Medical Graduates assessed by RACP as partially or substantially comparable
