Technical Requirements

  • API Management Expertise, 4+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience designing and managing APIs on Google Cloud Apigee (Edge, Apigee X, or Apigee Hybrid).

  • Lead, mentor, and code-review a team of integration developers. Establish coding standards, API governance policies, and best practices for the entire development lifecycle.

  • Optimize API traffic management using caching strategies, rate limiting, and quotas. Configure advanced monitoring, alerting, and custom analytics dashboards via Apigee Analytics or GCP Cloud Monitoring.
  • Partner with backend engineers, frontend developers, enterprise architects, and business stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into clean, developer-friendly REST/GraphQL APIs.
