About the Role A fast-growing, Y Combinator–backed AI voice automation startup is looking for a Customer Engineer to join its technical customer-success team. In this role, you'll sit at the intersection of engineering and customer experience — helping clients successfully deploy and get the most out of an AI-powered voice agent platform. - Provide hands-on technical guidance to customers as they deploy, configure, and optimize the platform.
- Troubleshoot Postgres-backed data workflows and frontend/backend code (TypeScript, React, Node.js, Python) alongside customers.
- Help customers design effective prompting strategies and workflows to unlock maximum value from AI voice agents.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a technical liaison between customers and internal product/engineering teams.
- Gather, synthesize, and communicate customer feedback to drive product improvements and documentation updates.
What We're Looking For Required:
- 2+ years of Software Engineering experience.
- Proven familiarity with TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Python.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL.
- Demonstrated direct business impact through written code.
- Some customer-facing or client-interaction experience in a software or technology context.
- Ability to guide customers through prompting techniques and related AI workflows.
Nice to Have:
- Strong CS fundamentals.
- Interest in or experience with AI/LLM-driven products.
- Experience in B2C SaaS, voice automation, or conversational AI platforms.
