A major specialist referral hospital in regional Victoria (approximately 150 km east of Melbourne) is seeking a Consultant / Staff Specialist in Anaesthetics to join its expanding team on a permanent basis.

The Role

You will provide high-quality anaesthetic care across a diverse case mix, including:

• Elective and emergency procedures
• Pre- and post-operative care
• Exposure to paediatric, adult, and obstetric cases

The role requires a clinician who can work both independently and collaboratively, contributing to a supportive and high-performing department committed to clinical excellence.

Requirements

• Fellowship of a recognised Royal Australian Medical College (e.g. **FANZCA**) or equivalent
• Eligible for **Specialist Registration with AHPRA** (Substantially Comparable pathway considered)
• Demonstrated recent clinical experience in anaesthetics at an appropriate level for the service
• Strong commitment to teamwork, quality improvement, and patient safety
