Vehicle workshop mechanic

**Workshop Mechanic / Auto Electrician — Renault Master Fleet**We are a growing company looking for a skilled Workshop Mechanic with auto electrical experience to maintain our in-house fleet of Renault Master vans. This is a permanent, full-time position with a guaranteed daily wage and long-term growth potential.**About the role**You will be the sole mechanic looking after our company fleet — all Renault Masters — so deep familiarity with this model is a big advantage. Because our workshop is newly established, workload will be light at first and will steadily grow alongside the business. We are also currently building larger workshop premises, which will become your main base once complete.When there is no vehicle work scheduled, you will help with light warehouse maintenance — small tasks like changing bulbs, fixing doors, and general upkeep. Nothing heavy or specialist, just keeping the place running.**Responsibilities**- Servicing, diagnostics, and repair of Renault Master vans (mechanical and electrical)- Routine maintenance and MOT preparation for the fleet- Keeping service records up to date- Assisting with basic warehouse maintenance during quieter periods**Requirements**- Proven experience as a workshop mechanic, ideally with Renault Masters or similar LCVs- Auto electrical knowledge (diagnostics, wiring, basic ECU work)- Reliable, self-motivated, able to work independently- Full driving licence**What we offer**- **All tools, equipment, and workwear provided** — you just turn up and get to work- Fixed daily rate paid regardless of workload — you get paid whether the bay is full or empty- Salary based on experience, with automatic increases as the company and workshop grow- Permanent position with long-term security- Move into a brand-new, larger workshop once construction is complete- Stable, friendly working environment**Job Type:** Full-time, PermanentPay: £25,883.70-£52,761.64 per yearBenefits:
