- Fabricate dental prostheses such as crowns, bridges, dentures, and veneers in accordance with dentist specifications
- Repair and modify existing dental appliances to ensure proper fit and function
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Collaborate closely with dentists and dental assistants to ensure the highest standards of patient care
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and calibrated regularly for optimal performance
- Adhere to health and safety regulations within the laboratory environment
- Assist in managing inventory of materials and tools required for production tasks
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Dental Technician or similar role within a dental laboratory setting
- Strong understanding of patient care principles related to dental prosthetics
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with dental professionals and patients when necessary
- Organisational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently and meet deadlines
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and utilisation of digital design software if required
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of nursing or healthcare environments is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to work accurately with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
