Skills & Qualifications
Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour Work Location: In person
- Provide speech and language therapy services to clients ages 3–5 and up to 21 years, including children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental, speech, and language delays.
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments and evaluations as needed to identify disorders and determine eligibility for services.
- Plan and deliver therapy services to preschool-age students with varying speech and language needs in self-contained classroom settings.
- Implement therapy goals in accordance with each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP).
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and interdisciplinary teams to address students’ individualized needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, when required.
- Monitor, document, and evaluate client progress; adjust treatment plans as necessary to support optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, and related service providers to coordinate care and provide appropriate recommendations.
- Provide education, guidance, and support to clients and families, including strategies to enhance communication skills across settings.

Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Pediatric experience, including experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, families, educators, and multidisciplinary professionals.
- Knowledge of a wide range of assessment tools and evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
- Ability to develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address client challenges and functional communication needs.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage caseloads, documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Must hold or be eligible for CFY, TSHH, SLP/TSHH, TSLD, and/or CCC.
