This is a new chapter inside an established business. The brand, the certifications, the international presence and the back office support are already in place. The team is what we are building now. The roles being advertised are part of that foundation, and there is room for the right people to grow with us.We are looking for experienced Master Mariners, Chief Engineers and Naval Architects to join us as Technical Superintendents. Supporting the West Coast, the role is field based, port focused, and built around vessel attendance for inspection, audit and survey work. You will work with shipowners, charterers, ship managers and industry bodies, supported by a national team of superintendents and an admin team that handles logistics, scheduling and reporting workflow.You will spend your time:
  • Attending vessels at port for marine and technical inspections, audits and surveys.
  • Reporting clearly and on time to clients.
  • Working with a national team of superintendents and a support team that handles logistics and administration.
  • Mentoring junior staff as the team grows.
  • Building long term client relationships.

About youYou hold either a Master Mariner (unlimited) certificate, Chief Engineer (unlimited) certificate or are a qualified Naval Architect. You have recent commercial sea time at command or chief engineer level and strong communication skills.Beyond the qualifications, you take pride in your work and bring care, judgment and professionalism to a role that requires all three.Applications from Australian citizens and those holding Australian work rights are preferred. For experienced and suitably qualified Master Mariners, Chief Engineers and Naval Architects visa sponsorship may be considered.What we offer

Marine Services ScopeOur marine activities include, but are not limited to:
  • Vessel condition and cargo inspections.
  • Draft and bunker surveys.
  • Compliance and safety inspections.
  • Damage and condition assessments.
  • Port and marine advisory services.
