About the RoleThis is a versatile, hands-on role covering multiple areas of warehouse and logistics operations, including sorting, dispatching, dock operations, and basic equipment maintenance.All positions are shift-based, and candidates should be open to flexible scheduling, including night shifts (night shift bonus provided).

Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse & Sorting OperationsSort packages by zip code for efficient deliveryTrain and supervise temporary workers during sortingMaintain inventory accuracy and conduct stock checksEnsure warehouse cleanliness and OSHA complianceFollow FIFO and proper staging proceduresDock & Warehouse OperationsManage dock loading/unloading and staging areasOversee forklift usage and ensure safe operationsCoordinate staffing and optimize warehouse workflowsMaintain packaging materials and warehouse organizationSupport recycling and overall facility upkeepDispatch & Transportation CoordinationCoordinate with trucking companies for shipmentsMaintain dispatch schedules and tracking recordsMonitor truck arrival, departure, and load efficiencyOptimize delivery routes for cost and time efficiencyHandle exception cases (damaged, delayed, missing packages)Work cross-functionally to ensure smooth operationsMaintenance & SafetyPerform routine equipment checks and minor repairsTroubleshoot operational and mechanical issuesIdentify safety risks and support compliance effortsAssist with site security, especially during night shifts
QualificationsExperience in warehouse, logistics, or dispatch preferredFamiliarity with WMS systems is a plusBasic mechanical knowledge is a plusStrong organization and multitasking skillsTeam-oriented with good communication skillsAble to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environmentExcel or logistics system experience preferredEnglish required
