Eastern Suburbs Sydney | Full-Time Position Join Bungalow Building CoBungalow Building Co is a growing residential construction company based in Maroubra, specialising in high-quality renovations, extensions, duplexes and new homes throughout Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.We are a team of 22 dedicated professionals who take pride in delivering exceptional workmanship, maintaining organised sites, and providing a positive experience for our clients. Most of our projects are located within a 5km radius of Maroubra, meaning less travel and more consistency in your day-to-day work.Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and qualified carpenter to join our team. About the RoleYou will work on a variety of residential projects including:

• Major home renovations
• Second-storey additions
• Ground-floor extensions
• Architectural alterations
• Duplex construction
• High-end residential finishes

This role is ideal for a carpenter who enjoys varied work and takes pride in quality craftsmanship. What You'll Be Doing

• Reading and interpreting construction plans
• Setting out and constructing wall frames
• Installing doors, windows and hardware
• Structural carpentry and framing
• Cladding, eaves and external finishes
• Managing and mentoring apprentices
• Maintaining site safety and organisation
• Liaising with supervisors, subcontractors and clients where required

What We're Looking For Essential

• Certificate III in Carpentry
• Minimum 3 years post-trade experience
• Strong renovation and extension experience
• Ability to read and interpret plans
• Sound understanding of NCC requirements and Australian Standards
• Current White Card
• Current driver's licence
• Own tools

Highly Regarded

• Experience leading small teams
• Ability to set out projects independently
• Knowledge of timber framing requirements
• Experience with structural steel installations
• First Aid Certificate
• EWP or Working at Heights tickets
