Teesside University is seeking an enthusiastic and committed psychologist to join our dynamic department based within the School of Social Sciences, Humanities & Law. You will contribute to teaching across our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, support student learning and research, and help shape the future of psychology education within the department. Key responsibilities include:
  • Delivery of engaging lectures, seminars and workshops
  • Contributions to curriculum development and assessment
  • Academic guidance and support to students


We are looking for candidates with strong subject knowledge, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to student success. While this is an open advert in terms of area of specialism, please note that applicants with a practice background (e.g. counselling, clinical or forensic psychology etc.) will be prioritised.
These posts are available as Academic Contracts (PhD essential) to contribute to the school’s growing research activity alongside teaching, or as Teaching, Scholarship and Professional Practice (TSPP) contract designed to enable staff to focus their work on industry engagement alongside teaching.
