Senior Technical Project Manager

What You'll Work On

• Delivering strategic technology initiatives that support trading expansion across global markets
• Driving projects that enhance the firm's trading platforms, infrastructure, and operational capabilities
• Coordinating complex initiatives across engineering, trading, research, and business teams
• Supporting new exchange connectivity, market launches, and product expansion efforts
• Working with external partners, exchanges, vendors, and market participants on business-critical projects
• Improving project delivery, governance, and execution practices across the technology organisation
• Helping shape how a world-class technology business plans, prioritises, and delivers change

Key Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale technology projects from inception through to delivery
• Partner with engineering and trading teams to align execution with business priorities
• Navigate complex technical environments and bring clarity to ambiguous challenges
• Manage project timelines, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations
• Facilitate decision-making across technical and non-technical teams
• Use data and operational insights to improve planning, prioritisation, and execution
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across technology and the business
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and ways of working

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience delivering complex technology or business-critical projects
• Background in financial services, capital markets, fintech, technology, or top-tier consulting environments
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to engage credibly with engineering teams
• Experience managing large cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholder groups
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A structured problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced, high-performance environments
• Proven ability to influence without direct authority and drive outcomes across teams
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance competing priorities
• Interest in technology-driven businesses and financial markets

Nice to Have

• Experience within trading, market infrastructure, exchanges, or electronic trading environments
• Understanding of software engineering, infrastructure, networking, or distributed systems
• Exposure to low-latency or high-performance technology environments
• Experience leveraging automation, analytics, or AI tools to improve workflows and productivity
