Clinical Lead GP

Position: Clinical Lead GP (Visa Sponsorship Available)
£99k - £100k per annum Clinical Lead GP required near York, paid CPD/management session, £11,354 per session, BMA contract. Prospect Health is recruiting a Clinical Lead GP for a medium sized teaching practice near York. The practice are looking for a GP to provide overall clinical leadership in the practice and manage a team of 5 Salaried GPs, as well as a nursing and clinical support team. You will be fully supported by an experienced Practice Manager. You will be required to work 3 clinical sessions a week with a 4th CPD/management session.

The workload in your clinical sessions is manageable with 14 patients contacts per session and home visits are rare. The practice uses Systm One.
Key Duties

• 4 sessions a week available (3 clinical and 1 CPD/management session)
• Provide clinical leadership to the practice with support from an experienced Practice Manager
• Practice list size of 9,000 patients
• Team of 5 Salaried GPs, 3 Advanced Clinical Practitioners, 3 Practice Nurses and 3 HCAs.
• Modern purpose built health centre
• Manageable workload of 14 patients per session
• Home visits are rare
• Practice uses Systm One

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Registered as a GP on the GMC Register
• Included on the NHS National Performers List
• Right to work in the UK, although tier 2 visa sponsorship can be provided too
• Have a minimum of 2 years post GP training experience
