OOH Veterinary Surgeon

Our Practice Our practice in Solihull is recruiting for an OOH vet to complete their current night team. Established in 2007, we are proud to be a part of the Your Vets veterinary group. We are a small animal practice located in Olton, Solihull. Our practice is easily accessible with disabled access and on‑site parking. Alongside our facilities and specialist equipment, our friendly and experienced veterinary team provide the highest quality of veterinary care, surgery and treatment – along with regular check‑ups and routine procedures. We take pride in ensuring that we are affordable and amenable to all our furry friends, with Gold standard ISFM in place, affordable prices and optional packages to help our clients.Onboarding & Working ConditionsYou would be joining our friendly, supportive and experienced team in a brand new purpose built clinic. The surgery is well equipped with a separate feline and canine wards, two theatres, dental suite, large central prep area and a separate triage/treatment zone. We are committed to providing you with the best possible working conditions and also have an onsite CT scanner offering inpatient & outpatient referrals. You will work a favourable rota of a 1:6 pattern (7 nights on, 35 nights off) alongside one of our fantastic night nurses. Shifts are between 7:00 pm–8:00 am.ResponsibilitiesTo be successful you will need to possess good communication and organisational skills, be able to deal with a variety of cases out of hours and have the ability to liaise between day and night teams. Previous experience with OOH and ECC is desired.Benefits
